Firefox 2.0 Search Tweak

Firefox 2.0 rc1 is out now.

It doesn’t support the Search Button plugin I like in 1.5x that put search results (from the search toolbar field) into a new tab.

Here’s how to get Search Results in a new tab, in Firefox 2.0 (rc1):

  1. Open about:config
  2. Find (or create) the key browser.search.openintab
  3. Set it to true
  4. Enjoy
